The Outreach Work Area of
our church mails cards and/or CARE packages to those serving in the
military 3-4 times each year and it’s time to do another mailing. If
you would like to help by purchasing small items to be sent to them
following is a list of suggestions; gum, mints, sunflower seeds, body
powder, foot powder, toothbrushes, toothpaste, hand and face wipes, long
distance phone cards, music CD’s, word puzzle books, Reader’s Digest,
hacky sack or other small games.

Sunday School Classes for ALL Ages Evangelism - This committee plans the activities for our church to spread the Good News beyond the walls of FUMC. Education - This work area is involved in creating ways to teach children, youth and adults about Jesus Christ. Education is always in need of volunteers. You may not feel comfortable teaching; but you could be a perfect assistant! Please call Ann about teaching opportunities in all areas! Youth Opportunities - Talk to BRIAN! Our Youth always need adult volunteers and examples! Music Ministry Opportunities - These opportunities abound! Talk to Gayle McDonald! Outreach - This work area finds itself helping others through "mission" activities. Different projects are available to the congregation throughout the year to reach out to those who need the hand of Jesus. We are always in need of help! Stephen Ministries - More about this great ministry opportunity soon. Family Life - This work area plans events for the church family to participate in during the year, thus enhancing fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ. Communications - This group decides how to "get the word out" about Jesus and how FUMC can help in the faith adventure. FUMC Committees Finance FUMC Church Council - This group meets quarterly and is the "rubber stamp" of the church.
| Adult Bible Studies Tuesday Noon Bible Study - Women of all ages and stages meet together at 12:00 noon to study different topics of the Bible. The class last 1 hour. Bring a lunch. New Covenant Bible Study - This study is geared for mother's that need to be fed spiritually and to share motherhood issues. The study meets on Wednesdays at 9:30 am in Wesley Hall. Childcare is provided. Wednesday Night Women's Bible Study - Each Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm a group of women meet in the Parlor to study the Bible from the perspective of various authors using study books. Wednesday Night Men's Bible Study - Wesley Hall is the location of this study for men on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm. The men choose a book in the Bible to study and discuss. Disciple Bible Studies - These Bible studies (I-IV) are long-term in-depth studies of the Bible. These courses are offered from time to time in the life of the church. A new Disciple Bible Study will begin in the fall of each year. If you are interested in taking a Disciple Bible Study, call the church office 275-9171. If you are interested in teaching a Disciple Bible Study, please contact Pastor Bell. Other Studies - Throughout the year, short-term Bible studies are offered.
